This course is for everyone planning a remote high adventure ranging from lay responders to medical professionals. It focuses on prevention, assessment, and treatment for an ill or injured person in a remote environment where definitive care by a physician and/or rapid transport is not readily available. This is defined as being an hour or more away from advanced care.
This training is for adult Scout leaders. A CPR certification is required to take this course.
Held at Red Bank Presbyterian at 8:30 am. When you enroll for this class, please know there are 2 sections. You are automatically enrolled in part B, which will be held on March 2, 2019.
